Conference Venue and Accommodation:

We have arranged for a block of rooms at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina Hotel (CA), USA. These rooms have been blocked to give attendees a special conference rate between May 16, 2013 and May 26, 2013. The special nightly conference rate is $133.00 per room (single and double occupancy). The rate includes wireless internet in guestrooms and lobby (normally there is a fee for this). Guest room rate will be available 3 days pre and post conference based on availability. Please note that all conference sessions are to be held in the “Bay Tower” building, which is a short walk from the main “Marina Tower”. Both buildings have guest rooms so you may be accommodated in either building. See the Hotel Campus Map below for the layout of the hotel.

Rates are exclusive of applicable state and local taxes (which are 12.57%) per day.

Self-Parking rates at the hotel have been discounted for the group to $18.00 per day. Attendees are encouraged to utilize the complimentary hotel shuttle and other public transportation options to avoid this fee.

All guests will be responsible for making their own hotel registration, reservation and payments, and must make these arrangements directly with the Hotel. Attendees are responsible for all charges associated with their respective room reservations.

To qualify for these special CTS2013 rates, you must make reservations directly with the Hotel by Monday, April 29, 2013, by 5:00 PM Eastern Time. The block will be assigned on a first-come-first-serve basis until it is full. All reservations must be guaranteed before this cut-off date. Requests after this date will be taken on a space available basis at the prevailing rack rate.

Cancellation Policy: Cancel by 6:00 PM Pacific Time on the day of arrival for no penalty. All reservations must be guaranteed by credit card.

Check-in time is at 3:00 pm and check-out time is at 12:00 Noon.

Airport Shuttle: Complimentary shuttle transportation, which runs every half-hour between 5am – 12 midnight, between the Marina and Bay Towers as well as the San Diego International Airport. Call 619-291-2900 to arrange your shuttle transportation.

Hotel Parking Rates: Self-Parking is discounted for CTS 2013 Attendees to $18.00 per day. Please note that there are separate entrances and parking areas adjacent to the Bay Tower and Marina Tower.

  • Take Interstate 8 West to I-5 South.

  • Take the Sassafrass/San Diego Airport Exit.

  • Continue for 1.5 miles to Harbor Island.

From North

  • Take Interstate 5 South to the Sassafrass/San Diego Airport Exit.

  • Turn right onto Laurel.

From San Diego International Airport

  • Follow the exit which becomes Harbor Island Drive.

  • Drive straight through the intersection to Harbor Island Drive.

From South

  • Take I-5 North to the Hawthorne/San Diego Airport Exit.
